In these classes you will be provided with all the tools and materials to create your own Macramé piece of art. You will learn the basic knots and techniques of Macramé and get to meet new people.

Charlene Eckard
Art has been a part of my life since I can remember. I have fond memories of watching my Grandmother making clothes on her Singer, knitting baby blankets and experimenting in the kitchen.
I have always been a free spirit, barefoot in the outdoors. That is where the inspiration for Knot so Hippie came from. Family and friends started saying that I'm a hippie. My response, "I'm not so Hippie".
I am a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. I am also a qualified teacher but in 2017 I decided to live more freely and pursue a life in art. I have never been happier.
My passion is to create unique pieces using locally sourced materials. I love to explore with different textures and recently started experimenting with natural dyes. As a former teacher I can still live out my calling to teach by hosting monthly workshops
